SAMSUNG JUST STARTED ROLLING -OUT THE EXYNOS VULNERABILITY PATCH FOR GALAXY SIII


Previously I  wrote a blog about the Exynos Vulnerability and Sudden Death of the Samsung Galaxy S III, one of the best smartphone in the year 2012. Samsung has started push rolling-out the Exynos Vulnerability Patch to fix Galaxy S III a serious kernel security vulnerability.Even they started already the updates for S III last December, they push the update patch last two weeks and it was started in UK (BTU) and upon checking the region  Luxembourg (LUX)- 1-9-2013  also has been updated from change list  566833 to 742798.

The Exynos Vulnerability issue was identified  last December 16, 2012 allow the apps to take control the kernel and give malicious apps to wipe the memory that can be cause the device to brick petentialy in Exynos Processor 4210 and 4412. The said patch not only to fix the vulnerability also can fix the "sudden death issue" of Samsung Galaxy S III (SamMobile.com). A firmware added a new bootloader, but not confirmed if the sudden death was fix by the new updates.

Other affected devices: Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT- N8000 and Note 10.1 GT-N8010.
