SAMSUNG SOLD MORE THAN 100 MILLION GALAXY S SERIES WORLDWIDE

Samsung announce that they sold over 100 million Samsung Galaxy S series unit  in 2 year and 7 months start last May 2010. The Galaxy S (I9000) the original Galaxy S sold over 24 million worldwide, Galaxy S II (I9100) sold more than 40 million unit shipped and Samsung Galaxy S III (I9300) the fastest selling smartphone in market sold 30 million in 5 months and reach more than 40 million in 7 months. This was a great achievement by Samsung Electronics' with the Samsung Galaxy S Series. The average daily sales of Samsung Galaxy S III is less than 200,000 units.

SAMSUNG JUST STARTED ROLLING -OUT THE EXYNOS VULNERABILITY PATCH FOR GALAXY SIII

Previously I  wrote a blog about the Exynos Vulnerability and Sudden Death of the Samsung Galaxy S III, one of the best smartphone in the year 2012. Samsung has started push rolling-out the Exynos Vulnerability Patch to fix Galaxy S III a serious kernel security vulnerability.Even they started already the updates for S III last December, they push the update patch last two weeks and it was started in UK (BTU) and upon checking the region  Luxembourg (LUX)- 1-9-2013  also has been updated from change list  566833 to 742798.

The Exynos Vulnerability issue was identified  last December 16, 2012 allow the apps to take control the kernel and give malicious apps to wipe the memory that can be cause the device to brick petentialy in Exynos Processor 4210 and 4412. The said patch not only to fix the vulnerability also can fix the "sudden death issue" of Samsung Galaxy S III (SamMobile.com). A firmware added a new bootloader, but not confirmed if the sudden death was fix by the new updates.

Other affected devices: Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT- N8000 and Note 10.1 GT-N8010.

SAMSUNG CONFIRMED PLAN NOT TO USE ANDROID OS THIS YEAR

It was a huge success into mobile industry by Samsung Android Smartphone started with the Samsung Galaxy S. But Bloomberg Businessweek confirmed that Samsung plan not to use Android platform step by step until they complete out from Android and use New OS called Tizen.

Samsung confirmed that they will launched competitive Tizen devices within in this year. After using Android platform and success into mobile industry, they thought that this is not be the best possible model in the future. Meaning they want to adopt New OS which is they easy to control, the software updates and services.Yet no any information from Samsung when it does.

Many opinion and speculation out, will Samsung survive and success again into the market with out using Android Platform?

SAMSUNG GALAXY S IV WILL NOT OUT BEFORE MAY 2013

One of the Fb user commented in the Samsung Lebanon Official Facebook page and ask a question about the Samsung Galaxy S IV.  After an hour the Samsung Lebanon answered that the Galaxy  IV won't be release before May 2013. But it is not 100% confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy S III released last May 2012 and same also with S II, maybe S IV will out same with S III and S IIin May 2013. The Samsung Galaxy S IV feature rumored  a Exynos 5450 CPU 2 GHz, Mali-T658 8 core GPU, 4.99-inch SuperAMOLED Full HD, 2gb Ram, a 13 MP rear auto-fucosCamera, 2 MP front camera and run Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean (some say it will run Key Lime Pie 5.0 OS) So many rumored out but still no one confirmed.

SUDDEN DEATH OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S III TO BE FIXED BY FIRMWARE UPDATE

Samsung Galaxy S III is the best android phone selling device sold over 30 million, Android 4.1.2 update has just started rolled-out last December 2012 up to now. But there was a report (Tweakers.net) that Samsung is busy to fix the "sudden death" of Galaxy S III. Many Samsung Galaxy S III reported stop working because of the firmware bug. This problem cause the motherboard of the said device will suddenly broken and the phone is unusable. The said problem will  be fix and solved by firmware update.

The manufacturer says to Tweakers aware of the defect."It's only a very limited number of Galaxy S III models with 16GB memory,"   - Anne ter Braak.

Samsung say that the said firmware update will bring out very soon, but no exact date for the update.

Samsung also reported to tweakers about HTML code that can reset the Galaxy S III, is now closed.
